The inner voice that lives with you, the one that talks in whispers and nudges – that is the one that rises you up for your greatest good. Learn to listen with quiet ears. Truly listen to the guidance within you, and then be so bold and brave as to act on it. That voice never yells, it never screams and it never causes you to do anything but good – for you and those around you. It will challenge you, it will push you outside your comfort zone, and it is very easy to ignore it.
It takes will power and true courage to act on your inner voice.
it is so much easier to ignore it or to pretend you didn’t hear it. But it gets easier, jus like when you try to build a muscle. It is first painful and hard, but the more you use it, the stronger you get. This is no different. The more you use your inner voice as your inner guidance system, the stronger your ability to listen to it gets.
It becomes a part of you, as natural as breathing, and then you can’t act or think without being in sync with your inner voice.
Your God-Voice.
Your life begins to get more aligned, unimportant things and people fall away naturally with no effort on your part, life opens up and welcomes you with open arms. You see the world for what it is; in a brighter, more benevolent, gentle way instead of through cynical or pessimistic eyes. Your cup runneth over and gratitude floods you on a regular basis. You wonder how you could be this lucky, what did you do to deserve this love, this joy, this happiness.
It is because you aligned your heart, spirit, mind and soul.
Your body comes along. You get healthier, you care for yourself more and as you care for yourself more, you care for the people in your life even more. Suddenly the things in your life that you considered obligations to your family, become your very raison d’etre. Your reason for being.
This is all because you stepped off the ledge in faith and found an entire safety net right there for you. In your faith and patience and in your surrender you will find abundance, joy, fulfillment both professional and personal.
TEO
Surrender isn’t giving up, it is giving in.
It is allowing God to step in big time and help you. You don’t have to go this alone. He is walking with you. Just stop stepping on His toes and let him carry you, carry your load and allow yourself rest.
Because it is from here that you are the best version of yourself for the people you love, the community you serve and the world you seek to change.
Gitanjali
You are the best when you are living, breathing, feeling and embodying abundance. You are not your best when you come from scarcity. There is no scarcity in God’s world. Everything is harmony and balance. Even the fury of Mother Nature is in balance with Herself. The cycle of life has to include loss and death because only then can there be renewal and birth.
As humans we cling to what we think is the best we can do.
But what if its not?
What if the best we can do is beyond our wildest imagination and it doesn’t involve harming Mother Earth or stepping on anyone or anything in the pursuit of our best?
What if the best we can do is only accomplished by lifting others up?
Don’t we have enough examples in our lives and throughout our history of such people who lived extraordinary lives and helped millions, just because they loved and lifted others up?
Isn’t that why Jesus died on the cross?
Isn’t this how Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., His Holiness the Dalai Lama all live? Living their best lives in the pursuit of freedom, health, goodwill and love of millions of people?
Isn’t this what leaving a legacy is about?
We are all driven by wealth and riches and money, but at what point do we say, I have enough, what can I do to serve the world?
Not everyone will serve the same way; some through their action, some through their words, but always the common denominator for these legacy-leaving individuals is that they were guided by a conviction that they couldn’t shake; by a sense of what they believed in so strongly that it drove them to do it in the face of great personal sacrifice.
They listened to their God-Voice. They lived and staked their lives to follow their God-Voice.
We may not be called to lay down our lives for people, or even change much outwardly about how we live our lives right now, but by simply becoming more aware of your inner voice – your God-Voice you will find life will start to shift around you, for you and with you in magical ways.
