Death is simply the start of a new phase. The soul has completed its lessons in this lifetime and needs to recycle that body back so that it can adorn a new wrapper; a new body, and transcend to be that much closer to the Divine. To be closer to not having to receive life lessons for growth.
Death is again something that human beings fear due to attachment. If there is no attachment there is no fear of loss.
If there is absolute love then that love transcends physical shape and form and becomes a forever memory; always a good one.
Grief over death is simply an expression of the loss of this physical shape.
It is however important for souls to experience the entire range of human emotions and that includes grief.
Beyond grief is tremendous peace when you surrender attachment to the body.
Stay present to the fact that the soul of the person you lost needs to transcend, needs to be freed, needs to grow into the next iteration of life. To want that person back is the equivalent of wanting to prevent a bird from flying.
The souls of those who are bonded beyond lifetimes always find ways to get back together. You always know when you have found someone you intimately connect with. Hence the term soulmate.
Death is simply new life. It is ridding the soul from being shackled to a body that no longer serves, so that it may soar. – TéO
